Worth knowing
Mery Nautic; cover, cost and conditions
The Mery Nautic 520 was built between 1998 and 2004 and is the only range on record here. A motorboat of this kind often moves between trailer and water. At NAMMERT the trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium.
During launching, during craning, while in transit and in winter storage the cover remains in place. Full hull cover covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard and pays out on the agreed value with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
The premium follows the type of boat, value, year of build, engine output and cruising range, and not the name of the yard. As production lies in the past, the boat comes into the policy second-hand; the year of build, place of purchase and previous owners are no obstacle. On request we cancel the old policy free of charge.
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
Is the trailer really included at no extra cost?
Yes, the boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium. Cover also exists while in transit and during launching and craning.
Who takes care of cancelling with the previous provider?
We do. The switching service cancels the old policy free of charge, and we coordinate the start of the new policy so that no gap arises.

Series by Mery Nautic, build years and cover
Mery Nautic 520 is a motorboat from Mery Nautic, built from 1998 to 2004.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
