NA-Boats covers 13 models in the NAMMERT data set: eight motorboats, three sailing yachts and two motor yachts. The range is shaped by the Flipper series from the Flipper 470 GT to the Flipper 850, joined by sailing yachts such as the Inferno 29 and Futura 31. They were built between 1978 and 1995 with lengths from 4.7 to 9.7 metres.
Many Flipper models are small enough for a trailer: liability cover is then the basis, and road transport should be included in the hull policy. For the older build years an agreed fixed value is also recommended instead of pure current-value cover, so the sum insured is settled before any claim.

Does NAMMERT insure a Flipper 620?
Yes. The Flipper 620 is a 6.2 metre motorboat built between 1980 and 1989. As a trailerable boat it is insured with liability as the basis, and hull cover including transport can be added.
Are the older NA-Boats build years from 1978 to 1995 a problem?
No. The build year is no obstacle, and all listed models come from this period. For older boats an agreed fixed value is recommended so the sum insured needs no discussion in a claim.

On sailing yachts the rig and the underwater hull are the expensive parts: a dismasting quickly costs a quarter of the boat, and osmosis counts as wear and is covered by no hull policy.

On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
