One model range is recorded, the Dinghy 12, built from 1998 to 2015. Boats change owner through the second-hand market. If a dispute about defects or with a yard arises afterwards, the legal expenses cover for water sports applies, which we offer alongside the boat insurance.
What counts for the premium is the type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area and cruising range. A boat trailer is included at no extra premium, which covers the way between the storage site and the slipway. There is also cover for the boat during launching, during craning and in winter storage.
Third-party liability is the basis and ranges, depending on the level, from a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros. If you want to protect the hull, you add limited hull cover or full hull cover with an agreed value and compensation with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff with no age limit.

What does the legal expenses cover for water sports help with?
It is offered alongside the boat insurance and applies, for example, in a dispute after buying a used boat or with a yard. Third-party liability and hull insurance are unaffected by it.
Which losses does the limited hull cover cover?
Fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage. Collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts are only added in full hull cover.
