One motor yacht and one sailing yacht are recorded: the Transition 75 from 1988 to 1994 and the Sirocco 78 from 1981 to 1987. With units of this kind the limit for taking out cover online matters, because up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros it works online, above that we assess each case individually.
For the motor yacht the premium follows the engine power, for the sailing yacht the sail area. Type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range are added in each case. Third-party liability remains the basis in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium, with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros.
You do not have to end existing contracts yourself: through the switching service NAMMERT cancels the old policy free of charge. After that the agreed value applies, and full hull cover indemnifies with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff without an age limit.

What does the switching service take care of?
NAMMERT cancels the old policy free of charge. You register your boat with the usual details, and we take care of the cancellation with your previous insurer.

For a series of this age there is no list price left. That is why we work with an agreed value: you state the figure, we agree it, and in a total loss exactly that amount is paid, with no deduction for wear.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
On sailing yachts the rig and the underwater hull are the expensive parts: a dismasting quickly costs a quarter of the boat, and osmosis counts as wear and is covered by no hull policy.
