The basis of every boat insurance is third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, graded into Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. Four ranges are recorded for Odin Yachten GmbH Lamprecht: the Odin 820 Classic from 1998, the 720, the 820 nova and the nova de Lux, which is still being built today.
Limited hull cover and full hull cover are built on top of third-party liability. Limited hull cover carries fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage; full hull cover carries in addition collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard.
On sailing boats the premium is calculated by sail area instead of by engine output, plus type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range. Club races are included from Basis-Plus, and you declare races with ranking status when you take out the policy.
