Omikron Yachts; cover, cost and conditions
Since 2023 the Omikron OT-60 has been in production, a motor yacht and the only model range recorded for Omikron Yachts; it is still being built today. No further information about the yard is available. Anyone travelling across national borders with it has the international certificate of insurance automatically to hand, issued in ten languages.
For a boat in current production what counts above all is the sum insured. Up to 2.5 million euros you take out the policy online, above that an individual examination follows. The value is agreed as an agreed value, compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff with no age limit.
The third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros carries the contract, and the full hull cover adds collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. In the hull cover there is neither a time window nor a night clause, not even at night in the harbour.

How do I prove the cover abroad?
With the international certificate of insurance, which NAMMERT issues automatically in ten languages. It is part of the contract and does not have to be requested separately.
Can a policy for an OT-60 be taken out online?
Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros, yes. If the value is above that, NAMMERT examines the contract individually, taking cruising range and use into account.
