Worth knowing
Poole Boat; cover, cost and conditions
One range is recorded, the Economy motor yacht with a production period from 1995 to 2001. Anyone taking over such a boat often brings along an existing policy that no longer suits the new owner. We handle the switch without you having to give notice yourself.
NAMMERT cancels the old policy free of charge. The new policy then begins with third-party liability as the basis, with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. Limited hull cover and full hull cover can be added as required.
Further ranges or details about the yard are not available, and production ended in 2001. This has no effect on acceptance, as we insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. The full hull cover works with an agreed value and pays compensation with no deduction for depreciation, new for old.
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
Do I have to cancel my old policy myself?
No, NAMMERT takes care of that free of charge. You tell us about the existing policy and we handle the cancellation, so that no uncovered period arises.
What changes when a motor yacht changes owner?
The policy is set up anew for the boat and the new owner. Year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners do not stand in the way, and the value is agreed as an agreed value.

Series by Poole Boat, build years and cover
Economy is a motor yacht from Poole Boat, built from 1995 to 2001.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
