The Windex 92 is the only model range on record for Radab AB, built from 1981 to 1996. It has not been available new since then, and every acquisition is a second-hand purchase. For the insurance a value is therefore agreed in advance and held in the contract as an agreed value.
This value determines the compensation in the event of a total loss, because it is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). In the Premium tariff this applies with no age limit. Permanently installed equipment belongs in the list, so that the value reflects the boat in full.
For acceptance, year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners are of no significance. With a sailing yacht the sail area feeds into the premium, along with value, year of construction and cruising range. Anyone who fears a dispute arising from the purchase can take out legal expenses cover for water sports as well.

What matters when buying a used sailing yacht?
A value that reflects the boat together with its permanently installed equipment. It is set as an agreed value and paid out in the event of a total loss with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
Are previous owners of significance for acceptance?
No. We insure independently of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. What is decisive are type of boat, value, sail area and the cruising range in which you are sailing.
