Worth knowing
Röhl; cover, cost and conditions
For Röhl one sailing yacht is listed: the Amazone 1100, built from 1970 to 1977. No other ranges are available. With a yacht whose construction period lies half a century in the past, the value agreed in advance determines what is available in the event of a claim.
The full hull cover works with an agreed value and pays compensation with no deduction for depreciation (new for old); in the Premium tariff this applies with no age limit. A deduction for current market value after the claim is thereby avoided. The limited hull cover covers fire, storm, lightning strike, the theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage.
We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. For the premium, what counts is the type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area and cruising range, never the brand. If you bring an existing policy with you, NAMMERT cancels the previous contract free of charge through the switching service.
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
How is the agreed value formed for a yacht from 1974?
It is arranged before the contract begins and reflects the boat and its equipment. In the event of a claim we pay compensation on this basis, with no deduction for depreciation.
How does the switch to NAMMERT come about?
You register your boat with the necessary details, and we cancel the previous contract free of charge. In this way the new cover follows on from the previous one without a gap.

Series by Röhl, build years and cover
Amazone 1100 is a sailing yacht from Röhl, built from 1970 to 1977.
For a series of this age there is no list price left. That is why we work with an agreed value: you state the figure, we agree it, and in a total loss exactly that amount is paid, with no deduction for wear.
On sailing yachts the rig and the underwater hull are the expensive parts: a dismasting quickly costs a quarter of the boat, and osmosis counts as wear and is covered by no hull policy.
