Three model ranges are recorded: the Sailfish 26 since 2002, the Sailfish 30 since 2014 and the Sailfish 29 MC with construction years from 2002 to 2012, all of them motor yachts. Whether a model range is still built or has been discontinued has no effect on the contract, neither on the cover nor on the premium.
For the premium, the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range count. The brand does not enter into it, the year of construction only as a calculation figure. Insurance is provided regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners, also for a boat from second or third hand.
In full hull cover the value is set as an agreed value and replaced with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old"), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Limited hull cover applies for fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage, and in addition craning, launching and transport are covered.
