For Samic two motor yacht ranges are recorded, the Striking 27 and the Striking 36, both with build years from 2003 to 2012. Electronics and equipment belong in the schedule attached to the policy, because the insured value that the agreed value holds results from them.
In the event of a claim the full hull cover settles with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard are covered. The limited hull cover bears fire, storm, lightning strike, the theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage.
The production period of both ranges ended in 2012, the yachts continue to be used. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners.

How is the value of a Striking 27 determined?

Do the Striking 27 and the Striking 36 differ in the policy?
Not in structure. Differences arise in the premium through the value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range of the individual boat, the brand itself does not enter into it.
