Three versions of the Ghost 750 are recorded for the Sea Ghost Group, the base model as well as the Open and Patrol versions. All three are inflatable boats with engines and have been built since 2018 and still today. With this type of boat the machinery determines a good part of the premium.
The type of boat, value, year of construction, engine output and cruising range go into the premium. The manufacturer's name stays out of it. State the output as it is actually used, so that the contract matches the boat in the event of a claim and the compensation does not become a matter of dispute.
The propulsion is at the same time the part that can be removed. Full hull cover covers theft of parts including the outboard, and limited hull cover the theft of the whole boat. In both cases the agreed value that was agreed applies, and compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).

What role does the engine play in the premium?
The engine output is one of several factors, alongside the type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range. The brand of the boat has no effect on the premium.
Can an inflatable boat with an engine be fully insured?
Yes. Third-party liability, limited hull cover and full hull cover are available as with other types of boat. Full hull cover includes theft of parts including the outboard and pays compensation at the agreed value.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On an inflatable the cause decides, not the damage: a tear from impact is covered, porous fabric after years in the sun is not. The outboard belongs in the policy with its serial number.
