The motor yacht Delphin 31 was built from 1965 to 1975 and is the only model range in the portfolio. Boats from that period often have several owners, engine changes and conversions behind them. For the contract, therefore, what counts is not a calculated residual value but the agreed value that you agree with us.
In the event of a claim we pay out this sum with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff without an age limit. What belongs to it in terms of engine, electronics and equipment you record in the list when taking out the policy. This means that before the first passage it is clear what will be discussed if the worst happens.
Further details about the yard are not available to us, and it is the boat that is insured in any case. We accept it regardless of the year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners, including from small series. Frequent questions
Is there an age limit for boats from the sixties?
In the Premium tariff the age limit for compensation with no deduction for depreciation (new for old) does not apply. This means that even a yacht from that period can be covered at an agreed value.
Which documents do you need to take out the policy?
The data of the boat and the value you want to cover. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros this can be done online, above that we assess the individual case.

A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
