One motorboat is documented, the S4 with years of construction from 2019 to 2024. Whether you are out on inland waters or on the coast with it is set out in the contract. Alongside the type of boat, value, year of construction and engine power, the cruising range is one of the factors of the premium.
The brand, by contrast, has no effect. Above the third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium are available. The full hull cover covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard.
Compensation is paid on the basis of an agreed value with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. The boat trailer is included at no extra premium, and the cover also applies in winter storage, during craning, during launching and on the transport route.

For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
