One sailing boat range has been in production since 2018, the Tasar, and it continues to the present day. With a sailing boat, the sail area takes the place of engine power when the premium is calculated. Added to this are the type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range; the brand itself does not count.
If the boat is sailed in club races, that is included from Basis-Plus upwards. Races with scoring status are declared when you take out the policy so that they are expressly stated in the contract and the hull cover also holds during the race, without a gap.
Between outings, the cover applies in winter storage, during craning, during launching and while the boat is in transit. A boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium. The full hull cover pays compensation according to the agreed value with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit.

Are race outings included?
Club races are contained from Basis-Plus upwards. Races with scoring status should be reported when you take out the policy; they are then expressly taken into account in the contract.
Is there a surcharge for transport on the trailer?
No. The boat trailer is included at no extra premium, and the cover exists while the boat is in transit, during launching, during craning and in winter storage.
