Worth knowing
Stratus Boats Sp. z o.o.; cover, cost and conditions
A single motor boat range is available, the Stratus 610 from the years of construction 2014 to 2022. Whether the boat stays on inland waters or travels along the coast is arranged in the contract as the cruising range. The cruising range helps determine the premium, the brand never does.
Type of boat, value, year of construction and engine power count as well. For the value we arrange an agreed value, the full hull cover pays compensation with no deduction for depreciation (new for old) and in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard are covered.
Beyond the border you receive the international certificate of insurance automatically in ten languages. Third-party liability covers 10 to 50 million euros depending on the level, and the boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out cover online.
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
Does the cruising range have to be defined in advance?
Yes, it is arranged in the contract and enters into the premium, alongside type of boat, value, year of construction and engine power. For trips abroad there is the certificate of insurance in ten languages.
What is covered in winter storage?
The cover applies in winter storage, during craning, during launching and in transit. The limited hull cover covers fire, storm, lightning strike and the theft of the whole boat there.

Series by Stratus Boats Sp. z o.o., build years and cover
Stratus 610 is a motorboat from Stratus Boats Sp. z o.o., built from 2014 to 2022.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
