Worth knowing
T-Yachts; cover, cost and conditions
Between 2006 and 2014 the T-34 sailing yacht was built, the only recorded range. At the start of every contract stands third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, selectable in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium, and it applies regardless of the brand of the boat.
Full hull cover and limited hull cover can be placed on top of it. Full hull cover includes collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard at the agreed value, limited hull cover includes fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage.
The production period ended in 2014, and every T-34 is a used boat today. Legal expenses cover for water sports can be added for a dispute after a used-boat purchase or with a yard, and an existing previous contract is cancelled free of charge via the switching service.
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
How high can the third-party liability cover be chosen?
10 to 50 million euros can be chosen, graded across the three tariff levels. Third-party liability is in any case the basis of the contract, and the hull cover comes on top of it.
Are races with a T-34 included?
Club races are included from Basis-Plus. Report races with scoring status when taking out the policy, so that they are taken into account in the contract.

Series by T-Yachts, build years and cover
T-34 is a sailing yacht from T-Yachts, built from 2006 to 2014.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On sailing yachts the rig and the underwater hull are the expensive parts: a dismasting quickly costs a quarter of the boat, and osmosis counts as wear and is covered by no hull policy.
