Técimar; cover, cost and conditions
Two ranges are recorded for Técimar, the Cyclades and Jusant sailing yachts, built between 1967 and 1975. Details on size, focus or programme are not available. Yachts from this period can be insured with us, regardless of the year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners.
The further back the year of construction lies, the more important the agreed value becomes. It is agreed at the start of the contract, in the Premium tariff with no age limit, and compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). This means that the amount of the payment in the event of a claim is known in advance.
For the premium, the type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area and cruising range count. Cover applies in winter storage, during craning, during launching and on the road. If you are coming from another provider, we cancel the previous contract for you free of charge.

Frequent questions
How old may a boat be for full hull cover?
In the Premium tariff the agreed value applies with no age limit. Yachts from the sixties are also carried with an agreed value and compensated with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
Do you take care of cancelling the old contract?
Yes, the switching service is part of it. We cancel the previous contract free of charge, and you only give us the data of the boat and of the existing contract.
