Three model ranges have been recorded since 2022, the FishHawk 450 and the FishHawk 600 as motor boats and the TRXV 570 as a cabin trimaran. On young boats with an outboard a large part of the value sits on the transom, and this part is included in full hull cover under theft of parts.
A separate contract for the engine is therefore not necessary. Full hull cover also covers collision, grounding and vandalism, while limited hull cover covers fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage. Compensation is paid on the basis of the agreed value.
Because production is running, it is usually a matter of new or young units. Compensation is paid on the basis of the agreed value with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you conclude the contract online; above that we assess the individual case. A boat trailer is included at no extra premium.

What happens if the outboard is stolen?
Theft of parts including the outboard belongs to full hull cover. Compensation is paid on the basis of the agreed value, with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
How is a trimaran rated?
According to the type of boat, the value, the year of construction, the engine output and the cruising range. The brand does not go into the premium, and up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the contract can be concluded online.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
On a trimaran the floats and their beams are the weak point, on folding models the mechanism as well.
