Three ranges are listed as cabin trimarans at Windrider LLC, the Windrider 17, the Windrider 10 and the Windrider model, with build years between 1997 and 2011. Production lies in the past. We insure multihulls just like other sailing boats, with an agreed value under full hull cover.
For sailing boats the sail area counts instead of the engine power output, along with the type of boat, value, build year and cruising range. The name of the shipyard never enters the calculation. Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards, and you declare races with scoring status when taking out cover.
The trailer is included at no extra premium, and cover applies during launching, on the transport route and in winter storage. Third-party liability forms the basis with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros. Full hull cover pays compensation with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit.

Are multihulls treated differently?

Is a Windrider 10 from 1999 still acceptable?
Yes, we insure regardless of build year, place of purchase and previous owners. In the Premium tariff full hull cover pays compensation with no deduction for depreciation (new for old) and with no age limit.
