Because one variant is listed as a motor boat and one as a sailing boat, the premium calculation differs: in one case the engine output counts, in the other the sail area. The value, the year of construction, the type of boat and the cruising range are added in both cases, while the brand is left out.
Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis, and full hull cover works with an agreed value and pays out with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old"). We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners, and the boat trailer is covered at no extra premium.
