The Hurley 800 and the Hurley 1050 are recorded, both with years of construction from 1998 onwards. Production ended in the middle of the 2000s. We insure sailing yachts from that period without additional conditions, regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners.
At the beginning there is third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, selectable in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. It bears damage to other boats, pontoons and persons, in harbour as well as under sail. Hull cover and legal expenses cover for water sports build on it.
For the yacht itself, full hull cover applies with an agreed value, with no deduction for depreciation (new for old) and, under the Premium tariff, without an age limit. The premium follows sail area, value, year of construction, type of boat and cruising range, never the brand. Club races are included from Basis-Plus.

What is the contract built on?

Does the yard count towards the premium?
No. The premium is based on the type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area and cruising range. The name of the yard does not enter into it, not even where production has ended.
