Four current model ranges are available: YUB 5 Sunny, YUB 6 Coupe, YUB 6 Cruiser and YUB 6 Fun, built since 2015 and 2016 respectively and until today. Where these boats are used, inland or on the coast, belongs in the policy, because the cruising range is a premium factor.
Alongside that, the type of boat, value, year of construction and engine power count. The YUB 6 Coupe is recorded as a motor yacht, the other three as motor boats, which is reflected through the type of boat. There is no surcharge for the brand; the premium follows the details of the boat alone.
For newer boats, full hull cover works with an agreed value and pays with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old"). It includes collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you can take out cover online.

Licence

Registration

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
