Albin built sailing yachts and motorboats in Sweden from the sixties into the nineties; the Vega and the Ballad are classics with owner associations worldwide and thousands of boats built. They are small, seaworthy yachts that have been used for circumnavigations.
With a Vega or a Ballad the question is not whether it can be insured, but at what agreed value. A well kept example with renewed rigging, a new engine and modernised electrics has a value that no depreciation table reflects.
