In Galicia, Rodman builds GRP boats between 8 and 13 metres, fishing boats, cabin boats and workboats, many of them in official and commercial service. The yard builds robustly and in a way that is easy to maintain, with inboard diesels and a shaft drive. In Europe, Rodman boats run privately as well as as water taxis, dive boats and fishing boats.
Anyone using their boat commercially must state the type of use. Charter, skippered charter and commercial service carry surcharges of their own, and without such a statement there is no cover for a claim in commercial operation. With dive boats there is the added factor that people in the water with the engine running are the greatest liability risk; here the limit of indemnity of the third-party liability should not be the smallest one.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
