The NAMMERT Ranking: entry fees back
You race, sail and fish at events. We pay your entry fee. Event organisers can usually count on some backing from their federations. The people who actually take part mostly get nothing. For the 2027 season we are changing that: take part in a water sports event wearing the NAMMERT logo, show us the proof, and you get your entry fee back and move up the ranking. Sailing, jet ski, jetboard, powerboat, angling and more.
You do not need a policy with us. Taking part is free.

The money goes to the people on the water
Sponsorship in water sports usually flows to associations and organisers. With us, every euro goes straight to the individual athlete who starts wearing our logo.

You are not on your own
On a motosurf board, in a jet ski team, on a sailing boat out at sea: athletes are already racing with the NAMMERT logo. From 2027 the ranking turns that into points, and the entry fee comes back.
How it works
Four steps, none of which costs you anything
Sign up
Fill in the form below, including your address and bank details. That also concludes the sponsorship agreement, so there is nothing to send afterwards. The confirmation arrives by email.
Get the logo
Pick a shape from the logo kit, with a number of your own if you like, and put it where it can be seen: on the boat, the board or your kit.
Take part
Enter any water sports event that is publicly advertised. You choose where and when. The organiser’s rules always come first.
Submit
Within 30 days: a photo with the logo clearly visible, proof that you took part, from 18 a link to your post, and the receipt for the entry fee.
Points
What counts is turning up
Every checked event earns points. From 18 a social media post is part of it and earns 3 extra points, however often it is watched. Under 18 only taking part counts: posts are optional and earn no points.

No points for position, time or speed. We reward taking part, not results. An insurer handing out points for going fast would be encouraging exactly the wrong thing. Winning is its own reward, it will not move you up this table.

The pot
Every euro pays for a real start
No jackpot for a lucky few, but entry fees for many. The pot is shown openly on this page, so everyone can see what is left.
Paid out: €0 of €10,000. Still available: €10,000.
- We refund the entry fee you can prove you paid, up to €100 per event and no more than €400 per athlete over the season.
- Each entry fee is refunded once, even if a whole crew starts on it, and only to whoever paid it. Every crew member who signed up themselves still gets the points.
- Refunds go in the order that complete entries have been checked. Once the pot is empty, refunds stop, points carry on.
- We pay once a month, as soon as your signed sponsorship agreement with bank details and the receipt are with us.
- Nothing is set against insurance premiums and there is no discount, customers included.
Ranking
The 2027 season ranking
Each sport is ranked separately for adults and juniors. A table of its own needs 5 active athletes, and active means at least 3 checked events. Smaller groups are combined in the open class.

King of NAMMERT: winners and prizes
The season ends on 31 October 2027. In every table the athlete with the most points at that date wins, and only the winner receives a prize. On top of the €10,000 pot for entry fees, we set aside up to €5,000 more for the Kings.
- Each sport is ranked separately for adults and juniors. Juniors are athletes who are not yet 18 when the season starts.
- A table of its own needs 5 active athletes, and active means at least 3 checked events. Smaller groups are combined in the open class, again with juniors and adults kept apart.
- If points are tied, more scored events win, then the earlier sign-up.
- The winner of each table becomes King of NAMMERT for their sport and receives the NAMMERT trophy and a sponsorship voucher worth €400. There is no cash alternative.
- We name the winners on this page after the season, using the name shown in the ranking. Prizes are sent by post, to the parents for juniors.
- Everyone else keeps their rank as a recognition, and their entry fees have been refunded along the way.
Logo kit
The logos in three shapes, at any size
The round seal, the portrait block and the long bar, always in the same colours. As a vector for any size without loss, and as image files on a transparent ground. Sticker film or lamination makes them weatherproof.
For dark backgrounds
On a dark ground blue and white change places: what was blue is white, what was white is blue. Only the white field inside the registered mark stays white. Pink and purple stay as they are.
With a number of your own
If you like, put a number of your own choice next to the logo, clearly readable in a field of its own. It is not a start number: those are issued by the organiser, and nobody puts their own on a boat. The number makes the logo yours, nothing more. One to four digits.
Three rules for the logo
- Do not change it: no other colours, no cropping, nothing added. The number from the logo kit is allowed.
- Only where the organiser allows it. Some events do not permit third-party logos, and then it stays off.
- Never suggest we sponsor the event. The logo stands for you, not for the organiser.

One sign-up per person. No postal address, no account: we need your year of birth for the age limits: you can join from 7, and under 18 a parent signs the agreement too. You choose the name shown in the ranking.

Your sponsorship agreement is concluded with it, there is nothing to send afterwards. The confirmation with the agreement text arrives by email. You can download the logo straight away further up this page.
Good to know
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be insured with you?
No, and that is a legal requirement rather than a courtesy. Insurance intermediaries in Germany may not give policyholders special benefits. So the ranking is open to everyone, refunds are paid in money and never set against a premium.
Which events count?
Publicly advertised water sports events with an organiser and an entry or results list: regattas, races, tournaments, meets. A private day out does not count, and neither does an event you organise yourself.
Does my finishing position count?
No. Points are for taking part and for posts, never for position, time or speed. Entries showing risky riding or broken rules are not counted.
Why does my post have to be labelled as an ad?
Because it earns you points and possibly a refund. If you get something for a post, it is advertising, and people have to be able to see that. A clear “Ad” or “Advertising” at the start of the post is enough.
What happens when the pot is empty?
Refunds stop for the season and this page says so. The ranking carries on to the end of the season, and the end-of-season prizes still go out.
We race as a crew. Who gets the entry fee?
Whoever paid it, and only once. Points, on the other hand, go to every crew member who signed up themselves, wore the logo and submits the event. That way the pot pays each entry fee once and the whole crew still moves up the ranking.
Could an entry count against me if I make a claim?
No. Entries are never used to assess a claim and have no effect on any existing or future insurance contract.
Why do I need a sponsorship agreement?
Because the refund is payment for advertising our logo, and it has to be booked properly. You conclude it right in the sign-up form, together with your bank details. There is nothing to send afterwards.
Does my child have to post on social media?
No. Under 18 only taking part with the logo counts; a post is optional and earns no points. We do not want to push children and young people onto social media. Under 13, any post goes through a parent’s account only. From 18, a post is part of every event.
Who wins what?
Only the winner of each table: they become King of NAMMERT for their sport and receive the NAMMERT trophy and a sponsorship voucher worth €400. Adults and juniors have separate tables. There is no cash at the end of the season, that money is in the pot for entry fees.
