Absolute builds motor yachts between 14 and 22 metres in northern Italy, with the Navetta model range as a semi-displacement cruising yacht with IPS pod drive. Semi-displacement boats travel more slowly than planing boats and cover greater distances, which lowers the hull insurance risk and increases the importance of the cruising range, because these yachts are built for long passages and actually make long passages.
If you take a Navetta from Italy to Croatia, Greece or Turkey, you may be leaving the agreed cruising range. The Mediterranean level excludes North African and Middle Eastern states, and the Black Sea requires the next level up. A loss outside the cruising range is not covered. The extension costs a manageable surcharge and can be agreed before the trip, so please notify us in advance.

Does my Mediterranean cruising range also apply in Turkey?
No. The Mediterranean level excludes North African and Middle Eastern states. For the Turkish coast you need an extension, which is straightforward to arrange before the trip.

A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
