The AD Boats range covers 26 models built since 2000, including 19 sailing yachts plus a few inflatables and RIBs. The Salona line dominates, with the S 33, S 35, 38, 39, S 41, S 44, 45, S 46, 46, S 380, S 550 and 60. The sailing yachts cover roughly ten to over nineteen metres, while the small tenders start at 2.3 metres.
Two things matter when insuring an AD Boats yacht. The application should say whether the yacht is used purely for cruising or also for racing. Because the length range runs from under three to over twenty metres, value and cruising area have to be stated accurately. For the first Salona model years from 2000 an agreed value is preferable to a depreciated value.

Do I have to declare racing with a Salona 38?
Yes. Whether an AD Boats yacht is sailed only for cruising or also in races belongs in the application, because the scope of cover follows from it.
Can the tender of a Salona 46 be included?
Yes. The small inflatables and RIBs from 2.3 metres can run under the yacht policy or be insured separately.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On sailing yachts the rig and the underwater hull are the expensive parts: a dismasting quickly costs a quarter of the boat, and osmosis counts as wear and is covered by no hull policy.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
Even without an engine the rule holds: a tear from impact or vandalism is covered, UV ageing is wear.
On an inflatable the cause decides, not the damage: a tear from impact is covered, porous fabric after years in the sun is not. The outboard belongs in the policy with its serial number.
