The five model ranges 1100, 1300, 1300 AC, 1500 and 2000 were built between 1997 and 2005, so production lies in the past. Especially with motor yachts from that period, an agreed value secures the value: it is set when the policy is taken out and paid out in the event of a claim with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
A year of construction before 2005 is no reason for exclusion with us. We provide cover regardless of the year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners, and in the Premium tariff the full hull cover applies with no age limit. It covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard.
For the type of boat, all five ranges are recorded as motor yachts. The premium is based on that as well as on value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range, never on the brand. The limited hull cover additionally takes on fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the whole boat and damage in winter storage.

Frequent questions
Does it matter that production ended in 2005?
No. We provide cover regardless of the year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners. What counts for the premium is the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range, not the name of the boatyard.
How do I switch from my current insurer?
Through our switching service: NAMMERT cancels the old contract free of charge and you only submit the new application. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy can be taken out online.

A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
