Sunreef Yachts; cover, cost and conditions
Sunreef builds luxury catamarans between 18 and 40 metres in Gdansk, many with a fully electric drive and solar panels integrated into the hull. They are semi-custom builds with sums insured in the millions, beyond the 2.5 million euros that the calculator underwrites. The catamaran brings a risk profile of its own with it.
With large catamarans the structure between the hulls is the critical point: the bridge deck area takes up the forces in a seaway, and damage there is costly to repair. Added to this are the electric drives: the battery bank and the solar system make up a considerable part of the value of a Sunreef Eco, and with us they form part of the insured propulsion, unlike in sets of conditions that exclude batteries as a consumable part.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
Registration from 3 hp; for trips abroad carry the boat certificate or flag document.
Waters
