Sailing yachts from Bodrum with lengths from 16 to 50 metres quickly exceed the limit for taking out cover online. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you conclude the contract directly; above that we assess your Ada on an individual basis and agree the cover and the tariff level with you.
Two model ranges are on file: the boutique yachts Ada 55 and 65 since 2010 as well as motor yachts from 40 to 50 metres since 2012, both up to the present day. Gulets are built as well. Different premium factors apply to sail and motor propulsion, because we calculate with sail area or engine power, never with the name of the yard.
Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis, and full hull cover adds collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts. In the tariff levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium you choose how far the protection for your yacht should reach.

How does registration of an Ada Yacht above 2.5 million euros work?
Above this sum insured, taking out cover online is not available. We record the details of your yacht, assess the individual case and set the limit of indemnity, the agreed value and the tariff level together with you.
Does the cover also apply outside German waters?
We agree the cruising range in the contract and set the premium accordingly. You receive the international certificate of insurance automatically in ten languages and can present it in foreign ports.

Ada 55 / 65 Boutique is a sailing yacht from Ada Yacht (Türkiye), built since 2010, and today changes hands at between €2,900,000 and €6,800,000.
Ada Motoryacht 40 to 50 m is a motor yacht from Ada Yacht (Türkiye), built since 2012, and today changes hands at between €6,800,000 and €14,000,000.
As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On sailing yachts the rig and the underwater hull are the expensive parts: a dismasting quickly costs a quarter of the boat, and osmosis counts as wear and is covered by no hull policy.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
