Moody built cruising yachts in England and today, within the Hanse Group, runs the deck saloon range, DS models between 12 and 15 metres with a saloon at deck level and all-round visibility. The older English Moodys between 10 and 12 metres are solid cruising yachts with a good reputation.
Two generations, two focal points. On the older English yachts, the rig, keel bolts and osmosis should be checked; osmosis is covered in the Premium tariff for boats up to an age of 48 months. On the current DS models, the large saloon superstructure is the surface exposed to the wind in winter storage and during craning; storm from wind force 8 is covered, on land as well, provided the boat is properly cradled.
