Carbon and Kevlar can be insured with us against a surcharge. The reason is the repair: damage to carbon is not a laminate job but a question of structure, repairs require vacuum technology, tempering and specialist yards, and the costs are correspondingly high. On a carbon yacht the agreed value is therefore not a detail but the basis of sensible hull insurance.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
