Exactly one model range is recorded for A.P.S. in our documents: the Scotch sailing yacht from the years of construction 1974 to 1982. Information on size, origin or further ranges is not available. The basis of every contract is third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the tariff levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. Limited hull cover and full hull cover can be built on top of it. Limited hull cover bears fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage.
Since production of the Scotch ended in 1982, what matters is the data of the individual vessel. Under full hull cover an agreed value is set, and indemnity is paid with no deduction for depreciation. In addition, legal expenses cover for water sports can be included, and club races are covered from Basis-Plus upwards.

How is the value of a Scotch recorded in the contract?
You agree an agreed value with NAMMERT before the contract starts. This sum applies in the event of a claim, and indemnity is paid with no deduction for depreciation. After that, the value no longer has to be negotiated.
Does a change of owner stand in the way of cover?
No. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. We cancel a running previous contract free of charge through the switching service, and the policy can be taken out online up to 2.5 million euros.
