Two motor yacht model ranges are recorded, the Elbtrawler 1020 from 1980 to 1986 and the Elbtrawler 1095 from 1985 to 2001. Boats from those years have reached an age at which a current value rule quickly becomes unsatisfactory. NAMMERT therefore agrees an agreed value, which in a claim applies with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
After production ended in 2001, the fleet is purely a second hand market. Anyone taking over an Elbtrawler should set the agreed value according to the condition and include electronics and equipment in the list. Full hull cover then pays for collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts.
Limited hull cover covers fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage. Cover also applies during craning, during launching and in transit. A boat trailer is included in the boat policy at no extra premium, so you need no separate contract for it.

Frequent questions
What does an agreed value mean for a trawler from the eighties?
The value is agreed when the policy is taken out and is used as the basis in a claim. Compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), and in the Premium tariff full hull cover applies without an age limit as well.
Does the cover also apply when the boat stands ashore over the winter?
Yes. Cover applies in winter storage, during craning, during launching and in transit. Limited hull cover expressly names damage in winter storage, as well as fire, storm and lightning strike.
