After the purchase of a second-hand boat, a dispute often only arises weeks later, when defects come to light. Legal expenses cover for water sports can be included with NAMMERT and applies to disputes after the purchase just as much as to disputes with a yard.
At Aquafibre three ranges stand side by side: the Charter 390 from 2002 to 2008, the S&S 34 from 1969 to 1988 and the Aquafibre 35 from 1976 to 1982. Motor yachts and one sailing yacht, then, with production periods far apart. All three can be covered through the same boat insurance, because the premium follows the type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range.
Full hull cover works with an agreed value and indemnifies with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old"), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Covered are collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. Cover also applies in winter storage, during craning and in transit.

Charter 390 is a motor yacht from Aquafibre, built from 2002 to 2008.
S&S 34 is a sailing yacht from Aquafibre, built from 1969 to 1988.
Aquafibre 35 is a motor yacht from Aquafibre, built from 1976 to 1982.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
For a series of this age there is no list price left. That is why we work with an agreed value: you state the figure, we agree it, and in a total loss exactly that amount is paid, with no deduction for wear.
On sailing yachts the rig and the underwater hull are the expensive parts: a dismasting quickly costs a quarter of the boat, and osmosis counts as wear and is covered by no hull policy.
