At NAMMERT sailing yachts arrive at their premium via the sail area, not via engine power. Three ranges are recorded for Aquatic Yachts: the Aquatic 25 T and the Aquatic 28 are still in production today, the Aquatic 25 was built from 2011 to 2018. The same calculation applies to all three.
Anyone taking over one of these yachts first secures third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. Club races are included from Basis-Plus, and races with ranking status you state when taking out the policy.
Between the seasons the cover ashore counts: craning, launching, transit and winter storage are included, and damage in winter storage is already borne by limited hull cover. Trailers are covered free of charge, and you receive the international certificate of insurance automatically in ten languages.

From the Basis-Plus tariff onwards club races are included. Races with ranking status you state when taking out the policy so that the cover matches them from the start.
What is the premium for a sailing yacht based on?
On the type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area and cruising range. The name of the yard does not enter into it, but the waters between inland and coastal do.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On sailing yachts the rig and the underwater hull are the expensive parts: a dismasting quickly costs a quarter of the boat, and osmosis counts as wear and is covered by no hull policy.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
