At the start of every policy stands third-party liability, with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium levels. It applies when third parties suffer harm, regardless of how old the boat is. For the Trålaren range from the years of construction 1970 to 1997, the same standard applies as for a new vessel.
About the shipyard itself we have only this one sailing yacht range on file, but with a production period of around 27 years. A long production period means very different years of construction on the market. We provide cover regardless of the year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners, and in full hull cover we agree an agreed value.
Hull cover has no time window and no night clause. Limited hull cover carries fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage; full hull cover adds collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts. Club races are included from the Basis-Plus tariff upwards.

Frequent questions
What limit of indemnity should third-party liability have?
You can choose 10 to 50 million euros in the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium levels. Third-party liability is the basis of the contract, with limited hull cover and full hull cover built on top of it.
Does hull cover also apply on night passages?
Yes. There is neither a time window nor a night clause. Collision and grounding are covered under full hull cover regardless of the time of day, as are vandalism and theft of parts.

Trålaren is a sailing yacht from Båt-Centralen, built from 1970 to 1997.
For a series of this age there is no list price left. That is why we work with an agreed value: you state the figure, we agree it, and in a total loss exactly that amount is paid, with no deduction for wear.
On sailing yachts the rig and the underwater hull are the expensive parts: a dismasting quickly costs a quarter of the boat, and osmosis counts as wear and is covered by no hull policy.
