Worth knowing
C.T.F.; cover, cost and conditions
Under C.T.F. three motor yacht ranges are recorded: Euro Banker 34, Atlantic Banker 41 and World Banker 48, built between 1979 and 1988. With motor yachts the engine power enters the premium calculation, together with the type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range. The calculation does not ask for the brand.
Full hull cover works with an agreed value and pays with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). It comprises collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard.
The basis remains third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy can be taken out online, above that an individual assessment follows. For trips abroad the international certificate of insurance is provided automatically in ten languages.
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
What role does engine power play in the premium?
With motor yachts the engine power is one of the factors, alongside the type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range. The brand of the boat never enters the calculation.
Up to what sum can a policy be taken out online?
Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy is taken out online. If the value is above that, we assess the contract individually and prepare an individual quotation.

Series by C.T.F., build years and cover
Euro Banker 34 is a motor yacht from C.T.F., built from 1982 to 1988.
Atlantic Banker 41 is a motor yacht from C.T.F., built from 1979 to 1986.
World Banker 48 is a motor yacht from C.T.F., built from 1979 to 1986.
For a series of this age there is no list price left. That is why we work with an agreed value: you state the figure, we agree it, and in a total loss exactly that amount is paid, with no deduction for wear.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
