Codecasa; cover, cost and conditions
Codecasa in Viareggio has been building ships since 1825 and, since the seventies, superyachts between 30 and 70 metres, classic lines, steel hulls with an aluminium superstructure, often designed as displacement yachts for long voyages. These are yachts that actually cover great distances.
For yachts intended for long passages the cruising range is the core of the agreement. Worldwide applies without restriction, but salvage costs scale with the distance to the nearest yard, and navigation in ice requires a separate agreement. The sums insured are above the calculator limit of 2.5 million euros; please contact us, we will clarify cruising range, salvage cover and deductible in detail.

Does worldwide also cover remote cruising areas without yard infrastructure?
Yes, the cruising range itself applies without restriction. Salvage costs and deductible should, however, match the distance; that should be discussed before the voyage.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
Registration from 3 hp; for trips abroad carry the boat certificate or flag document.
