Concept Marine; cover, cost and conditions
On motor yachts the limit of indemnity in the third-party liability cover carries more weight. The choice ranges from 10 to 50 million euros in the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium levels. For the Concept 36 M, the 42 M, the Lobster 52 and the Concept 62 this is the basis of every policy.
All four ranges began in 2005; the Concept 62 was discontinued in 2009, the others in 2012. Production therefore lies in the past, while the existing fleet sails on. We insure irrespective of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners and record the value as an agreed value.
Taking out the policy online is possible up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros. If a yacht lies above that, we assess the case individually and agree the scope with you. You receive the international certificate of insurance automatically in ten languages.

Which limit of indemnity is advisable for a larger motor yacht?
The third-party liability cover can be chosen between 10 and 50 million euros, graded across Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. Anyone who manoeuvres a great deal in busy harbours tends to choose the higher amount.
What applies above a sum insured of 2.5 million euros?
Then online conclusion ends and we assess the case individually. The cover itself remains the same: agreed value, compensation with no deduction for depreciation (new for old) and, in the Premium tariff, without an age limit.

Registration

For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
