Two sailing yacht ranges are recorded: the Domani S28 built from 2014 to 2021 and the Domani S30 from 2018 to 2023. Both production periods are closed, and no further model ranges are available. Anyone taking over such a yacht today is buying used, and the value belongs in the contract in binding form.
That is what the agreed value is for: it is set when the policy is taken out, and compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff without any age limit. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. When you switch, NAMMERT cancels an existing previous policy free of charge.
Third-party liability can be chosen with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. With sailing yachts the sail area enters into the premium, along with the value, the year of construction, the type of boat and the cruising range. Club races are included from Basis-Plus.

Frequent questions
What applies when buying a used Domani S28?
The contract is written on an agreed value, and compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation. The year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners play no part in insurability.
Does cover also apply at night at anchor?
Yes. Hull cover has no time window and no night clause. Cover also applies in winter storage, during craning, during launching and on the road.

For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
