Worth knowing
Fisherman; cover, cost and conditions
For Fisherman we have no model ranges and no production periods on file. That does not change the fact that a boat can be insured: at NAMMERT the premium is based on value, year of construction, propulsion and cruising range anyway, and never on the brand on the hull.
Small series and home-built boats can be insured as well, and we provide cover regardless of the year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners. For the rating we need details about the boat itself, not about the shipyard. Missing model details therefore do not stand in the way of a quotation.
The basis is third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium levels. On top of that you add limited hull cover or full hull cover with an agreed value, which pays out with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). The boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium.
