Worth knowing
Exploder; cover, cost and conditions
Four model ranges are recorded: two cabin catamarans, among them the Exploder 20 from 2004 to 2010, as well as the open catamarans F18 Scorpion and A13. The Exploder range has been listed since 2015 up to the present day. For the premium, type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power or sail area and cruising range count.
The name of the yard does not enter into it, but the use does. Club races are included from the Basis-Plus level upwards. You state races with scoring status when taking out the contract, so that competitive use also remains covered and no gap arises in the event of a claim.
Hull cover accompanies the boat ashore, in winter storage, during craning, launching and in transit. A boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium. Full hull cover pays according to the agreed value with no deduction for depreciation (new for old) and covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts.

Series by Exploder, build years and cover
Exploder is a cabin catamaran from Exploder, built since 2015.
Exploder F18 Scorpion is an open catamaran from Exploder, built from 2015 to 2022.
A13 is an open catamaran from Exploder, built from 2013 to 2018.
Exploder 20 is a cabin catamaran from Exploder, built from 2004 to 2010.
As the Exploder by Exploder series is still in production,
parts are available and repair costs are predictable.
Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
For the Exploder F18 Scorpion, A13 and Exploder 20 by Exploder series the market value and the
replacement cost often differ widely.
An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
For the Exploder, Exploder 20 by Exploder series:
On catamarans the bridgedeck between the hulls is the sensitive part,
and the berth belongs in the application: double width often means a mooring rather than a marina.
For the Exploder F18 Scorpion, A13 by Exploder series: Open catamarans are beached and trailed,
so most damage happens ashore and in transit, not on the water.
