Worth knowing
Eolo; cover, cost and conditions
Every contract is based on third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium levels. The motorboats from Eolo, among them the 590 Day and 650 Day model ranges, built since 2003 and still in production today, are thus first of all protected against third-party claims.
The catalogue comprises fourteen model ranges, from the Eolo 590 Open through the 600 Fishing to the 770 Cruiser. The brand itself has no influence on the premium: it is determined by the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range. A more powerfully engined model is therefore rated differently from a smaller one.
An Eolo 650 Day is already sailing in our own portfolio. Hull insurance cover knows no time window and no night clause; it applies in winter storage, during craning and launching and on the transport route. If you trailer your boat, the boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium.
