Worth knowing
Domp; cover, cost and conditions
We have no model ranges on file for Domp. Neither production periods nor types of boat are recorded, and we do not add anything here that cannot be substantiated. For the insurance this is no obstacle, because what is insured is always the individual boat with its features, not the brand.
The premium is based on the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power or sail area and cruising range. The basis is third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. Small production runs and home-built boats can also be insured with us.
If you already have a policy, we handle the switch: NAMMERT cancels the previous policy free of charge. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out the policy online; above that an individual assessment follows. We provide cover regardless of the year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners.
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
What happens if no model data is available for a brand?
For Domp: Nothing to your disadvantage.
What counts for the policy are the details of your boat: type of boat, value,
year of construction, engine power or sail area and cruising range.
The brand does not enter into the premium.
How does switching from an existing policy work?
For Domp: You take out the policy with us and we cancel the previous policy for you free of charge.
That way no gap in cover arises and you do not have to worry about the notice period with your
previous insurer.
