A change of insurer often fails because of the old contract. We cancel it free of charge as soon as the new cover is in place. For Deltania two sailing boat model ranges are recorded, the 20 Sport and the 18 Open, built between 2018 and 2023. The same structure of third-party liability, limited hull cover and full hull cover applies to both.
Production of both ranges now lies in the past, the boats are young. With sailing boats we calculate using the sail area instead of the engine output, in addition there are value, year of construction, type of boat and cruising range. Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards, races with scoring status are to be declared when you take out the policy.
Many boats switch between berth and trailer several times a year. The boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value, and the cover applies during launching, during craning, on the transport route and in winter storage. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium. Hull insurance cover knows no time window and no night clause.
