A boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value, and no second contract is required for it. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium. Cover applies during craning, during launching, while in transit and in winter storage, that is in those moments in which the boat is moved or set down ashore.
A Dory 13 is insured with us, so we know the range from our own portfolio. We issue the international certificate of insurance automatically in ten languages. The policy can be taken out online up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros; above that we examine each case individually.
