On boats built decades ago, the agreed value decides what is paid in the event of a claim. The Südkreuzer 24 was built between 1967 and 1979, the Weekend between 1965 and 1975 and the Bayern Kreuzer between 1965 and 1972. Production of all three ranges therefore lies far in the past.
All three ranges are sailing boats, for which the sail area and not engine power enters into the premium. Added to this are value, year of construction and cruising range. In the Premium tariff the agreed value applies with no age limit, and compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). Age therefore does not reduce the compensation.
No information is available on the country, size and segment of the yard. For the policy the description of the boat is enough: NAMMERT insures regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards, and the boat trailer is covered at no extra premium.

Is there an age limit for the full hull cover?
In the Premium tariff the agreed value applies with no age limit. Even a sailing boat from the 1965 year of construction can therefore be held in full hull cover and is compensated with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
What does compensation with no deduction for depreciation (new for old) mean?
Replaced parts are not reduced according to their age. The agreed value that was arranged remains the benchmark, regardless of how long the boat has already been in use.
