Worth knowing
John; cover, cost and conditions
Two motor yacht ranges are recorded, the Imperator J IV from 1980 to 1988 and the Imperator 50 from 1982 to 1991. After that the documentation ends. Yachts from that time are used boats today, which we insure regardless of the year of build, the place of purchase and previous owners.
Over the winter such a yacht usually stands ashore. The cover also applies in winter storage, during craning, during launching and on the transport route. Damage in winter storage already falls under the limited hull cover, so that a storm or a fire in the hall is not left out.
In the full hull cover we work with an agreed value and pay with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Added to this are collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts. The third-party liability cover is available for selection in three levels with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros.

Series by John, build years and cover
Imperator 50 is a motor yacht from John, built from 1982 to 1991.
Imperator J IV is a motor yacht from John, built from 1980 to 1988.
For a series of this age there is no list price left. That is why we work with an agreed value: you state the figure, we agree it, and in a total loss exactly that amount is paid, with no deduction for wear.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
